About the Online ESL Teacher

For over 10 years, I’ve worked with children as a teacher and online educator.

Alongside teaching, I’ve also been home educating my own children. Like many parents, I’ve spent countless hours searching for activities that were engaging, educational, and actually enjoyable for my children.

What I discovered was that children learn best when learning feels meaningful.

Not through endless worksheets.

Not through pressure.

But through stories, games, creativity, conversation, and play.

Whether we’re reading a favourite picture book, acting out a story, completing a scavenger hunt, or making a simple craft, children naturally build skills when they’re engaged and having fun.

As a teacher, online educator, and home-educating mum, I understand that every family learns differently. That’s why I focus on creating flexible resources that can be adapted to suit a wide range of ages, abilities, and learning styles.

As both a teacher and a home-educating mum, I’ve seen first-hand how powerful stories can be.
